About Richmond - The American International University in London

Richmond College was founded in 1972 for US students with a study abroad program. In 1978 a second campus was opened in Kensington for third and fourth year students.  

This is an international, non-for-profit university and welcomes students from over 100 countries around the world. Students are given the oppurtunity to find their speciality within the range of three specialist schools and a sports academy. Richmond provides students with an interesting international curriculum.

Campus

Richmond Hill

  • First and second-year students will attend the Richmond Hill campus. An impressive neo-Gothic building was constructed in 1843. The campus is also complete with students’ accommodation, dining hall, student common room, and faculty as well as the administrative offices. Once students have completed two years at Richmond Hill campus, students transfer to the other campus in Kensington for their third and fourth year.

Kensington

  • Third-year, fourth-year and graduate students will continue their studies in Kensington campus. Kensington is one of London's most beautiful residential areas to live. Famous places such as the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Colleges of Music and Art, Imperial College of Science and Technology, museums and many cinemas, cafes, restaurants, clubs and department stores are just within easy walking distance only.
