Entry Requirements

  • The MSc in Manual Therapy is open to Health Professionals Council (HPC) and Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) registered physiotherapists who wish to develop and extend their knowledge base and professional expertise in the field of manual therapy.
  • Students whose first language is not English will be asked to meet the standard requirements for University Entrance at this level which are: ILETS 7

Curriculum

The course is strongly based on clinical reasoning, research and evidence-based practice, and places an emphasis on the development of clinical skills. The course is taught by research and clinically active academic staff. 

Manual Therapy also focuses on manual skills and mentored clinical practice, allowing you to develop confidence and expertise in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal disorders. With many of our students working full-time we ensure our learning pathway is flexible, with study of up to five years part-time available.
