About

The Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) Psychology programme at UTAR provides students with a comprehensive understanding of human thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, covering both normal and abnormal psychological processes.

This programme develops an in-depth knowledge of psychological concepts and theories, while also focusing on their real-world applications in diverse settings. With an emphasis on meeting the evolving needs of the socio-economic environment, students will explore various branches of psychology, including cognitive, social, clinical, and industrial-organizational psychology.

To enhance practical skills and professional readiness, students will also gain hands-on experience through a supervised industrial training programme, preparing them for careers in psychology, counselling, human resources, research, and more.
