About
Journalism is the activity of collecting, assessing, creating, and presenting news and information through multitude of media and communication channels. A journalist will be in the fore-front of cutting-edge stories, covering world and local events in all areas of human activity wherever it is happening. It plays an indispensable role in keeping society and people of all walks of life with information needed to make the best possible decisions on issues that affect them or in which they have stakes. The surge in web, blogging, social media outlets and messaging apps have brought dramatic changes to the way of accessing and spreading news and information, and the speed news and information travels.
The Bachelor of Communication (Hons) Journalism will provide students with solid knowledge in composing professional level articles fit for publishing on different media channels. - STPM with minimum 2 Principal Passes in the relevant subjects
- A-Levels with minimum 2 passes in the relevant subjects
- South Australian Matriculation (SAM) with a Tertiary Entrance Rank of 70 and Grade B in 2 of the relevant subjects
- Canadian Pre-University (CPU) with an average of 70% in 6 of the relevant subjects
- Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with Grade B in 6 of the relevant subjects
