Diploma of Medical Laboratory Technology
About
This course is presented in conjunction with medical technology improvements to meet the demand for qualified biomedical technologists to support the establishment, administration, and operation of biomedical laboratories. An important part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team is played by a biomedical laboratory technologist. Their primary areas of involvement include pharmaceutical firms, forensic, research, and public health laboratories, as well as hospitals, clinics, and doctor's offices. Biomedical lab techs have more and more options to work as technical and sales representatives in the biomedical and healthcare sector, as well as to support research and development.
