About
The Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) program is tailored for students aspiring to pursue careers as professional accountants, offering a comprehensive understanding of key accounting principles and skills through essential courses.
This program equips students with diverse competencies across various functional areas of accounting, including auditing, taxation, and corporate reporting. Additionally, it hones their financial management skills in accounting management, accounting information systems, advanced financial management, and internal audit.
UNITAR's Bachelor of Accounting stands out as the FIRST and ONLY 100% Online Accounting Course in Malaysia accredited by ICAEW, CPA Australia, ACCA, and CIMA. Notably, it offers maximum exemptions from ICAEW, ACCA & CPA Australia, facilitating a more streamlined academic path. The program also features an accelerated track with ACCA, allowing students to undertake two (2) professional papers during their internship period.
With a six-month internship component, students gain valuable work experience and opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings. Through the APEL (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning) pathway, individuals can leverage their previous learning experiences for admission, potentially reducing both study duration and costs.
Endorsed by MOHE/MQA, this program (R2/344/6/0067) 01/29 (MQA/FA 0904) meets rigorous educational standards.
