About
UCSI is the first private university to receive full accreditation for a nursing degree programme. This programme focuses on basic sciences, theoretical and clinical modules while competency-based learning is facilitated through guided inquiry, reflection and critical thinking in relation to nursing theories and evidence-based practices to provide safe, quality and client-centred care.
The programme is recognised by the Malaysian Nursing Board (MNB) and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and has a 100% passing rate for the Malaysian Nursing Board examinations

Entry Requirements
- UCSI Foundation in Science: CGPA 3.0
- STPM: CGPA 2.5
- A-Level: 3 principals in Mathematics and 2 pure science courses
- National Matriculation: CGPA 2.5 (undertaking courses in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics)
- UEC: 5 credits (inclusive of Mathematics and a science courses)
- International Baccalaureate (IB): 26 points out of 6 courses (including Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics)
- Australian Year 12: Overall score of ATAR 60% (undertaking courses in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics)
- Other Year 12 equivalent: Overall score of 60% (inclusive of Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics)
English Requirements
- MUET Band 4; IELTS band 6.0; TOEFL score of 550 (written-based)
