About
UCSI College's one-year Foundation in scientific curriculum prepares students for a variety of scientific-based university degrees. This curriculum has been thoughtfully designed to give students the fundamental knowledge and abilities needed to achieve a bachelor's degree. This program offers a strong basis for your next academic step, regardless of whether you have a specific job path in mind or a strong interest in the sciences.
Students in the Foundation in Science program adhere to a demanding curriculum that builds fundamental scientific knowledge and abilities throughout the year. It develops their critical thinking and problem-solving skills while improving their comprehension of basic ideas. Graduates of the program depart with the self-assurance and academic readiness to succeed in their degree programs and future employment, equipped to take on any obstacles that may arise.

Entry Requirements
Medicine and Pharmacy Pathways:
- SPM / O-Levels:
- 5 Bs in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and 1 other subject.
- A credit in SPM Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- UEC:
- 3 B4s in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics.
Other Programme Pathways:
- SPM / O-Levels:
- 5 Cs in relevant subjects, including Mathematics.
- UEC:
- 3 B6s in relevant subjects, including Mathematics.
- Note: Other program pathways would require students to score a Credit (C) in specific science subjects depending on the subject areas. For more information, please talk to our course counsellors.
