About
This Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Banking and Finance degree programme is designed to equip students with a background of banking and finance concepts, as well as knowledge and skills that allow for practical application in the modern-day workplace. Students are prepared for a wide-array of careers in financial sectors, including financial consultancy, stock broker, commercial and inverstment banking, securities commission and central bank.
The AICB Executive Banker Certificate Award: Students who are pursuing chartered banker education pathway will only be required to take 6 papers (3 papers under professional banker and another 3 papers under chartered banker level).
Additional Accreditation by Bloomberg: All students will get an additional Bloomberg Certification (BMC) upon completion of Portfolio Management Module.

- Graduates will be eligible for exemptions from Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM).

Pass SPM / O-Level or equivalent with 5 credits (including a Pass in Mathematics and English) for entry with pre-university/ foundation qualification (Except for UEC)

Note: Candidates without a pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted if the STPM / Matriculation / Foundation / Diploma programme contains subjects in Mathematics and English that are equivalent and achieved higher at SPM level.

COMPLEMENTARY STUDIES
The Complementary Studies component provides student the flexibility to study modules in a related or unrelated field from the same or different school to complement the Primary Major. It may be completed in a form of free electives, an extension, minors or a second major that typically requires at least one (1) semester of student learning time.
