Bachelor of Electronic and Electrical Engineering with Honours
About
The Electronic and Electrical Engineering degree explores the design, development, and application of electrical and electronic systems, from large-scale power infrastructure to intricate circuits and communication technologies. Electrical engineering focuses on power systems and major electrical equipment, while electronic engineering delves into smaller-scale devices, computer systems, and advanced communication networks. This programme provides a deep understanding of how modern electrical and electronic technologies function, preparing students for a future shaped by innovation.
Students will gain strong technical knowledge across various areas, including electronics, signal processing, power engineering, computer systems, and engineering management. Alongside theoretical learning, hands-on practical training ensures graduates are industry-ready. Career opportunities span diverse fields such as telecommunications, robotics, computer engineering, power systems, and medical technology. The Sunway University Bachelor of Electronic and Electrical Engineering with Honours (BEng Hons) degree is recognised as equivalent to Lancaster University's Master of Engineering Electronic and Electrical Engineering with Honours (MEng Hons) degree. Graduates receive dual certification from both institutions, enhancing their credentials and career prospects worldwide.
