The four-year undergraduate Bachelor of Environmental Health and Safety (Hons) program at MAHSA University prepares students for a career in environmental health and safety management, which covers a range of circumstances and materials, such as pollution, temperature fluctuations, and waste disposal. The ability to enhance neighbourhood health and safety, as well as global health and safety, has become a highly sought-after qualification in an era of global climate change.

Students who successfully complete this program will be able to properly reduce, prevent, and eliminate the risk of accidents and injuries at home, at work, and in other settings; identify, evaluate, reduce, and eliminate risk in a variety of potentially hazardous situations and environments; and suggest strategies for protecting the general public from potentially hazardous situations.

The Bachelor of Environmental Health and Safety (Hons) degree from MAHSA University will empower its graduates to improve global safety.

Entry Requirements

Any one of these:

  • Pass Matriculation/Pre-University/STPM or equivalent with a minimum GPA 2.33 in TWO of the following subjects; Biology, Physics/Mathematics, Chemistry

  • Pass A-level or equivalent with minimum Grade D in TWO of the following subjects; Biology, Physics/Mathematics, Chemistry

  • Pass Diploma (Level 4 MQF) with minimum CGPA of 2.75 in related field

  • Pass Diploma (Level 4 MQF) with CGPA less than 2.75 in related field and a minimum of 3 years working experience in the related field

  • Other recognized qualification of equivalence

English Language Requirements

  • Local Students: MUET Band 3 or ELTS (5.5) or TOEFL (550)
  • International Students: TOEFL (550) or IELTS (5.5) or equivalent
