About
The PhD in Information Technology (Ph.D. IT) program addresses the growing demand for people who manage information resources and handle information, communication, and technological challenges in corporations and other organizations.
The Ph.D. would be equally valuable for people involved in educating and/or training others in domains relating to information system and communication applications. This is an intense program aimed primarily at developing practitioners and teaching faculty with exceptional technical and analytical skills in specialized domains of information technology (IT). Research focuses on industrial practice rather than theory. After successfully completing the program, the title "Doctor" is given, and the post-nominals can be used.
The PhD. IT research program at Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL) brings together researchers and experienced personnel from leading organizations to develop and innovate infrastructure solutions to address critical issues, thereby setting the agenda for future research and education.

Entry Requirements
- A master degree from any Malaysian Government accredited institutions or other equivalent qualification approved by the Senate of IUKL
- Sufficient mastery of the English language to satisfactorily complete the course (where necessary candidates may be required to sit for an English language proficiency test (EPT).
- International applicants are required to have a minimum score of TOEFL 550 or IELTS 6.0 or have attained a degree from a university where the medium of instruction is in English OR other English Language qualifications as accepted by the Senate.
