Mechanical engineering encompasses tasks related to all types of motion, including the movement of the human body.
Mechanical engineers study materials, statics and dynamics, solid and fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, control engineering, industrial engineering, instrumentation and design. It also includes the creation and production of a wide range of items, from small components to massive structures like airplanes and spacecraft.

Entry Requirements
- STPM : 2 relevant Principles or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.0
- A-level : 2 relevant Principles passes
- UEC : Minimum 5 Bs
- SAM/AUSMAT/HSC : An average score of 60%
- Canadian Pre-U : Average of 60%
- IB : 6 subjects with a minimum of level 4 pass for each subject, a total score of at least 24 points
- Matriculation : A minimum CGPA of 2.0
- Foundation : A minimum CGPA of 2.0
- Diploma : Any discipline with a minimum of CGPA 2.0
