Foundation in Science
About
Technology and science are at the forefront of a nation's development, advancement, and competitiveness. In addition to leading research and development initiatives that can result in technical innovation, nation-building and economic development programs require appropriately and suitably trained personnel in the scientific and technological domains. At Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), the aim is to encourage young people to pursue careers in science and technology by providing them with an alternate pathway to undergraduate study through a science preuniversity study program. The XMUM Foundation in Science program is made to accommodate students' unique interests and academic preferences, especially in the areas of information and communication technology, energy science, marine science, and traditional Chinese medicine. Students will advance to the appropriate undergraduate programs at XMUM after successfully completing the foundation program.
