About
The School of Economics at Xiamen University (XMU), the first economics school among the major national comprehensive universities in mainland China, offers an international business curriculum. XMU's economics program has consistently placed in the top five in mainland China. In terms of the quantity of articles published in esteemed international journals, XMU was rated 16th in Asia and among the top four in China by the 2013 Tilburg University Worldwide Economics Schools Research Ranking. Twelve professors, thirteen associate professors, and five assistant professors make up their formidable faculty. With academic qualifications from renowned universities, 97% of the faculty members hold Ph.D. degrees. They continue to be interested in tracking the real dynamics and mechanisms of global corporations and foreign investment while placing a strong emphasis on the study of ideas and policies pertaining to the global economy and trade.
Building a comprehensive awareness of global business trends and concerns, particularly multinational corporations and their marketing techniques, is the goal of their degree at Xiamen University Malaysia. Graduates are expected to succeed in their chosen fields, using their special educational background to handle cross-cultural sensitivity during cross-border interactions and engagements, together with their newly acquired commercial acumen and talents.

Intakes
Entry Requirements
Any of These:
- STPM: A pass in STPM with at least a Grade C (GP 2.0) in any 2 subjects.
- A-Level: A pass in A-Level with at least a Grade D in any 2 subjects.
- UEC: A pass in UEC with at least a Grade B in 5 subjects.
- Foundation/Matriculation: A pass in Foundation/Matriculation with at least CGPA 2.0 out of 4.0.
- Diploma: A pass in Diploma with at least CGPA 2.0 out of 4.0.
Mathematics and English Language Requirement:
- A pass in SPM or a Grade C7 in UEC or the equivalent.
