Entry Requirements
- Degree: Minimum 2.2 Honours in Business, Finance, Economics or in the Applied Mathematical Sciences with some Economics courses.
Note: We would normally expect you to have Grade C in GCSE English and Maths.
English Language Requirements:
- Overall IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 6.0 in Writing, Speaking, Reading and Listening (or recognised equivalent).
Curriculum
Throughout this specialist course you will be trained in research and investigative methods as you get to grips with the latest thinking, literature and issues in the field.
You will also learn the methods and practices of accounting and finance professionals, evaluating and analysing data using industry-standard software, databases and other tools.
The modules you will study include financial analysis, corporate finance, international accounting, econometrics, research methods and international finance. You will learn to critically evaluate ideas and will complete a dissertation based on a relevant topic of particular interest to you.
As part of the course you will learn about managing an investment portfolio, how international markets work, corporate governance, reporting and business strategy. This mix of theoretical and practical content will prepare you for a job in the industry.
