Entry Requirements
- Foundation degree/HND: 60 per cent or merit grade from a foundation degree or HND in an appropriate subject. In addition, students must have passed the following modules as part of their foundation degree/HND:
- work placement/experience type module (min 15 CATS credits)
- Level 2 module (min 15 CATS credits) in sport and/or exercise physiology
- Level 2 module (min 15 CATS credits) in sport and/or exercise psychology
- one module each (min 15 CATS credits), ideally level 2, for two of the following areas: sport and/or exercise biomechanics, nutrition, sports/exercise coaching, sports/exercise development/policy.
- GCSE (minimum grade C): at least three subjects including English language and mathematics or a science. We do not accept Functional Skills or Key Skills as a GCSE equivalent. Applicants must have already passed, or be in the process of taking the required GCSEs.
- Other: DipHE (240 CATs credits) or equivalent from BSc Sport and Exercise Science or similar. Accredited prior learning (APEL) may also be considered
