About
The programme aims to produce graduates with contemporary knowledge and skills in a range of key human resource management (HRM) disciplines with specific emphasis on professions with high moral and ethical values. Bachelor of human resource management (BHRM) degrees equip students with quantitative skills and a global outlook in the field, aiming to broaden the student’s awareness of the world in which HRM operates. Professionals who need to learn salary administration, employment law, leadership theory, recruiting, retention, and the importance of research in strategic decision-making may benefit from the BHRM programme.
This programme also prepares students to manage human capital development in organisations. The syllabus includes all related courses and is designed to meet the needs of the industry. Some courses are practical in using the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) and in accordance with Malaysian Statutory requirements. With a significant association with alumni and industry, this programme always maintains its relevance and would have a better chance of being competitive.

Entry Requirements
- Passed Malaysian Higher School Certificate (Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia – STPM) or equivalent by obtaining at least C grade (NGMP: 2.00) in two (2) subjects and passed Mathematics and English at Malaysian Ceritificate of Education (SPM) level or equivalent qualifications; OR
- Passed the Malaysian Higher Certificate of Religion (STAM) with at least the rank of Jayyid (Good) and passed Mathematics and English at the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) level/ equivalent; OR
- Pass the United Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least a B grade in five (5) subjects, including Mathematics and pass English; OR
- Pass Matriculation/Foundation/AsSI with at least CGPA 2.00 out of 4.00; OR
- Pass the UNISEL Foundation Year Study Programme with a minimum GPA of 2.00; OR
- Other qualifications recognised as equivalent to a Diploma or Advanced Diploma (Level 4 or 5, KKM) with at least a CGPA of 2.00; OR
- Other qualifications are recognised as equivalent by the Malaysian Government.
Curriculum
The Bachelor of Human Resource Management (Hons.) programme is comprehensive, encompassing University Compulsory Subjects, MQA Compulsory Subjects, Core Discipline Modules, and Electives. Students need to complete 121 credit hours over the 3 years programme duration, which includes practical training and a capstone project.
