Entry Requirements
- Secondary school diploma or an IB diploma
- One of the following English language requirements:
- TOEFL with a minimum score of 80 for the Internet-based test, or minimum score of 550 for the paper-based test, or minimum score of 213 for the computer-based test.
- IELTS with an overall Band Score of 6 or above
- Grade 4 or above in English for applicants with IB qualifications
- Grade C in GCSE/IGCSE/GCEOL English
- Additional documents depending on the programme (reference letter, portfolio or CV)
Curriculum
- The foundation subjects during Year One are different from those of other engineering programmes because Physics I, Physics II and Basic Mathematics II - Calculus and Linear Algebra are not required. Foundation Subjects taught in Year One include Fundamentals of Enterprise Systems, Enterprise Computing, Information Technology, Freshman Seminar, English and General Education subjects.
- In Years Two and Three, students study enterprise engineering, business management and information technology subjects. Examples are Enterprise System Modeling & Design, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Knowledge Management Systems & Applications, Industrial Engineering Techniques & Methods, Technology & Applications of E-Business Systems, Operations Research, Quality Engineering, Accounting for Decision Making, Marketing, Economics, and Human Resources Management.
- Apart from allowing students to take subjects such as Strategic & Project Management, Enterprise Resources Planning and Society & the Engineer, the final year of studies enables integration of what has been learned into running simulated enterprises and solving industry/business-related problems. Students learn and practise these skills in the subject of Integrated Studies in Enterprise Systems Management, and by working on Individual Projects.
- Each student takes three free Elective Subjects according to his/her individual interest and career aspirations.
