About
Welcome to our Master of Clinical Psychology curriculum, a two-year journey built exclusively for those like you who want to pursue a professional career in Clinical Psychology. Our programme is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to improve the well-being of those suffering from psychological diseases.
Throughout the curriculum, our goal is to cultivate and create professional, qualified, and competent clinical psychologists. We aim to develop expertise in a variety of fields, including diagnosis, psychological assessment, psychotherapy, intervention, clinical research, and mental health prevention.
This programme meets the standards and requirements of the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council, Malaysia's Allied Health Professions Act 2016, and the Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology (MSCP), and graduates are eligible to register as Registered Clinical Psychologists with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council.

Entry Requirements
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and its equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.75 out of 4.00; Note: A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology not meeting CGPA 2.75 (but not lower than 2.50) can be accepted subject to rigourous internal assessment by an independent review panel; OR
A Bachelor's Degree in the field or related fields with minimum CGPA 2.75 out of 4.00 in any field, AND a minimum 45 credits of prerequisites modules in Psychology or its equivalent (covering all eight Knowledge Areas highlighted in page 13-14 of MQA Programme Standards: Psychology) with a minimum CGPA 2.75 out of 4.00 in the prerequisites modules; OR
A Bachelor's Degree in the field or related fields with minimum CGPA 2.75 out of 4.00 in any field, AND a minimum 30 credits of prerequisites modules in Psychology or its equivalent (covering all eight Knowledge Areas highlighted in page 13-14 of MQA Programme Standards: Psychology)with a minimum CGPA 2.75 out of 4.00 in the prerequisites modules, AND a Graduate Record Examination (GRE) Subject Test (Psychology) with a minimum score of 550; OR
Other relevant or equivalent qualification, experience and requirement accepted by the HEP Senate/ competent authority in Malaysia and passed Candidate Selection Interview arranged by Taylor’s University.
For international students: IELTS 5.0 / TOEFL 500 paper based or 213 for computer-based (May join IEN preparatory course and achieve the IELTS score) The validity of the IELTS or equivalent is within 2 years from the date of the examination.
For Malaysian students (if their undergraduate or postgraduate degree qualifications [whichever more recent] were done outside of Malaysia, and were not undertaken in the English language): IELTS 5.0 / TOEFL 500 paper based or 213 for computer-based (May join IEN preparatory course and achieve the IELTS score) The validity of the IELTS or equivalent is within 2 years from the date of the examination.
