Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
About
The MBBS Honours programme at Newcastle University Medicine Malaysia (NUMed) offers students a globally recognised UK medical degree right here in Malaysia. Delivered by one of the UK's top medical schools, this 5-year programme mirrors the same high standards and curriculum taught at Newcastle University in the UK.
As an accredited medical programme in Malaysia, the MBBS at NUMed combines academic excellence with early clinical exposure. Students gain hands-on training in hospitals and community settings from Year 1, ensuring they are fully prepared for patient care and real-world medical practice.
Graduates receive an MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) Honours degree awarded by Newcastle University UK, which is recognised by the General Medical Council (GMC) UK, the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC), and other international bodies. This gives students the flexibility to practise medicine in Malaysia, the UK, or other countries.
NUMed Malaysia provides world-class teaching, cutting-edge medical facilities, and a supportive campus environment, all at a more affordable cost compared to studying in the UK. It's an ideal choice for students looking for a reputable international medical degree closer to home.
