Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
About
The Diploma in Mechanical Engineering at Multimedia University is designed to meet industry needs, responding to positive market feedback on the employability of mechanical engineering graduates. Mechanical engineering is a highly sought-after field, offering graduates versatility and knowledge across various disciplines. The programme is also open to non-Science stream applicants.
This diploma provides students with both the academic foundation and technical skills required in mechanical engineering. Students gain hands-on experience through lab experiments, group projects, and final year projects. The coursework-based approach ensures practical, real-world applications throughout their studies.
Upon completion, graduates can continue their studies in the Mechanical Engineering degree programme at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) or enter the workforce as qualified diploma holders.
The programme is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Council (ETAC) under the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). Graduates are eligible to apply for the Inspector of Works (IoW) certification from BEM.
