With a Limkokwing University degree in Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons) in Mobile Computing, you will develop your understanding of the aspects that face mobile computing in today’s society. We aim to offer a modern, relevant computing degree which directly promotes employable skills to effectively prepare you for a career within the industry.
The course aims to provide students with an understanding of mobile/wireless technologies and how these technologies are utilised and integrated to meet specific business needs.
The course builds a solid foundation of software development skills and introduces the specific skills needed for developing mobile/wireless applications. Students will also gain the necessary understanding of current technologies and architectures that provide the network and communications infrastructure for mobile-enabled enterprise computer systems.
Students will also develop skills in the design of modern distributed software systems, using appropriate technologies, architectures and techniques, and in the advanced network technologies supporting the upper layers, together with their planning, management and security. The structure of the course allows students to gain valuable practical experience in building software systems, and also apply knowledge in mobile game design.

Entry Requirements
1. A pass in Matriculation or Foundation studies with minimum CGPA of 2.0 and a credit in Additional Mathematics or Mathematics at SPM/O-Level or its equivalent OR
2. A pass in STPM/A-Level with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.0) in any 2 subjects and a credit in Additional Mathematics or Mathematics at SPM/O-Level or its equivalent OR
3. A Diploma in Computer Science OR Software Engineering OR Information Technology OR Information Systems or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 and a credit in Additional Mathematics or Mathematics at SPM/O-Level or its equivalent. Candidates with CGPA below 2.5 but above 2.0 with a credit in additional mathematics at SPM/O-Level or its equivalent may be admitted subject to a rigorous internal assessment process OR
Any other Diploma in science and technology with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 may be admitted subject to a rigorous internal assessment process and a credit in Additional Mathematics or Mathematics at SPM/O-Level or its equivalent.
Candidates without a credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM/O-Level or its equivalent may be admitted if the Diploma programme contains subjects in mathematics that are equivalent to Additional Mathematics or Mathematics at SPM/O-Level. Candidate with a credit in computing related subject at SPM/O-Level or STPM/A-Level or its equivalent may be given preferential consideration. AND
