About
Public Health is the science of preventing disease, prolonging life and promoting health. While it includes reducing or eliminating disease risks and environmental health hazards, improving social conditions, and encouraging healthy choices, this programme also encompasses the distribution and optimization of healthcare services. Pursuing a MSc in Public Health at IMU provides a strong foundation for a rewarding career in public health agencies, non-profit organisations, or healthcare institutions. Students enrolled in the MSc in Public Health programme are eligible to gain credit recognition by University of Arizona that leads to the award of an additional degree. Entry Requirements
Academic Requirements
- A medical degree from a recognised university; or
- A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from related disciplines with CGPA 2.50 and above.
- A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from related disciplines with CGPA below 2.50 but above 2.00 and with at least 3 years of experience in related disciplines may be considered.
English Language Requirements
- All students are normally required to provide evidence of their ability in the English Language in order to study in IMU.
- The standard English Proficiency requirements are usually overall band score of IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 550 (PBT) or 79 (IBT) or MUET band 4.
