Entry Requirements
Existing Teachers
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Completed Certificate in Infant and Toddler Care or WSQ Higher Certificate in Infant Care and
- Attained an average SOA 5 in the WPL Series and any one of the following:
- A credit in GCE ‘O’ Level English as a 1st Language (EL1)
A minimum of Band 5.5 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS – General Training) An average SOA of 5 for WPL (written)
New Teachers
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Must have at least Sec 4 qualifications
completed 10 years of formal education* and - Attained an average SOA 5 in the WPL Series and any one of the following:
- A credit in GCE ‘O’ Level English as a 1st Language (EL1)
A minimum of Band 5.5 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS – General Training) An average SOA of 5 for WPL (written)
