Entry Requirements
Bachelor Degree Entry
- Applicants who hold a relevant Bachelor degree awarded by a recognised university or higher education institution may be admitted conditionally subject to achieving minimum Credit Average result (65 out of 100 marks) in semester 1 and semester 2 of their studies with no individual Fail result.
Graduate Diploma/Master Degree Entry
- Applicant who have already completed a relevant Graduate Diploma or a Master degree either in Australia or overseas.
Graduate Certificate Entry
- In cases where a candidate has completed a relevant Graduate Certificate at minimum Credit Average level (65 out of 100 marks) he or she may be permitted to enrol in any of the Master degree courses offered by the College subject to achieving minimum Credit Average result in their first semester of their studies at APIC with no Fail result in any individual units they attempt.
Associate Degree Entry
- In cases where a candidate has completed a relevant Associate Degree at minimum Credit Average level (65 out of 100 marks) he or she may be permitted to enrol in any of the Master degree courses offered by the College subject to having at least 2 years of relevant practical experience.
- Achieve minimum Credit Average result (65 out of 100 marks) in semester 1 and semester 2 of their studies with no individual Fail result. Should the applicants fail to achieve the required minimum academic performance they will be required to exit the program with a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma subject to meeting the respective requirements of these qualifications.
Diploma/Advanced Diploma Entry
- Applicants who have not completed a higher education qualification either in Australia or overseas may be admitted to study any of the Master degree courses the College offers subject to the following conditions:
- They must have completed a Diploma or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field in a recognised institution plus at least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Completed a relevant Advanced Diploma or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field in a recognised institution plus at least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Achieve minimum Credit Average result (65 out of 100 marks) in semester 1 and semester 2 of their studies with no individual Fail result. Should the applicants fail to achieve the required minimum academic performance they will be required to exit the program with a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma subject to meeting the respective requirements of these qualifications.Additional professional certification and experience in a relevant field are considered an advantage. Eligibility for admission through the flexible entry mode will be determined on a case by case basis (a charge may apply for assessing certain cases).
English Level Requirement
- IELTS: Overall band score of 6.5 or better with no band below 6.0;
- IBT (Internet-based TOEFL): Overall score of 90 with a writing section minimum of 21;
- Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): Grades A, B, C and C1;
- Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE): Total score of 58;
- ELSIS English for Academic Purposes (EAP 2): Grade A.
- PTE Academic Module with score over 59.
